Guided artmaking/creative expression to support self-care. Art supplies will be provided and no prior artistic experience is necessary. The program will be facilitated by a credentialed clinical art therapist from Family Services of Warren County. The KYDC Etiquette Class is designed to teach the essentials of dining and social etiquette. GIRLS LEADING OTHERS WISELY (GLOW) OFFERS A DYNAMIC 8-WEEK PROGRAM FOR GIRLS IN GRADES 4-7. EACH SESSION FEATURES A HEALTHY SNACK AND NUTRITION SEGMENT, A GLOW CIRCLE – CREATING A SPACE FOR MEANINGFUL, AGE-APPROPRIATE CONVERSATIONS, ALONG WITH INSPIRING DISCUSSIONS, AND A FUN, CREATIVE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY THAT PROMOTES TEAMWORK, CONFIDENCE, AND LEADERSHIP.
GLOW (Girls Leading Others Wisely)
Ages: 9 – 14
Dates: Every other Wednesday from March 19 to June 25, 2025 (8 sessions total)

Sessions feature a GLOW circle, creating a space for meaningful, age-appropirate conversations, along with inspiring discussions. Participants will enjoy fun, creative physical activities that promote teamwork, confidence, and leadership.

Pickleball Camp
Ages: 3rd – 8th graders
Dates: June 16 – 20, 2025

Location: KYDC and Betts Park
Students will be introduced to pickleball with instruction focusing on the fundamentals of the sport while emphasizing skill development and fun! Enrollment is limited to 12 spots per age group and is on a first come, first served basis. There is no fee to participate.

Hey young gardeners! Join this super-fun, hands-on Beginner’s Gardening Adventure where kids learn to grow their own delicious vegetables from start to finish—starting with making healthy soil the perfect home for plants, planning and planting your dream garden, keeping everything growing strong through maintenance, watering, and pulling those sneaky weeds, harvesting your yummy bounty to taste what you grew, and finally doing a big fall clean-up to tidy up spent plants, weed thoroughly, and get the garden ready to rest over winter so it comes back awesome next year! Please plan on coming to every class since each one builds on the last like levels in a game—you won’t want to miss any! You’ll dig in the dirt, discover cool plant secrets, team up with friends, and see your hard work turn into real food, all while following our Kinzua rules: respect others, help others, give best efforts, and be self-directed. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity, a smile, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
